Group his the road this fall in support of debut album

Grammy-winning singer Macy Gray and her band The California Jet Club are gearing up to embark on The Reset Tour this fall across the US. The trek kicks off September 29th in Troy, New York with stops in New York City, Norfolk and more before wrapping October 15th in Bethesda, Maryland.

The group will be supporting their new album, The Reset, which combines the coolness of jazz, the raw sexiness of R&B, the heart of soul, and the across-the-board popularity of AC.

The highly anticipated debut album comes from the idea that maybe we should reset, renovate our country, ourselves – let go of old ideals and ways. The album is both thought provoking and moving with poignant, powerful lyrics delivered with Gray’s signature cool vibe, featuring standout songs such as a “Cop Killer” remake and original “Every Night” with uplifting dance vibes featuring rapper Maino.

Macy Gray and The California Jet Club consists of Tamir Barzilay on drums, Billy Wes on keys, Alex Kyhn on bass and Macy Gray on vocals. All had toured with Macy in the past and they spoke about doing a band project – which came to fruition in July of 2020 during COVID. The album was produced by Tommy Parker (J. Cole, Ariana Grande) and is lyrically inspired by the social, economical and political events of that year.
