The global hitmaker reveals Latin-powered studio album

Following a few eager months of speculation, world-renowned producer and Grammy-nominated genius, Marshmello, reveals his long-awaited Latin-powered studio album, Sugar Papi. The album is set to be released on November 3rd.

The announcement comes on the heels of a momentous win for Marshmello, having been named the Crossover Artist of the Year at the 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards last night (Thurs, Oct 6th). The award further solidifies the global hitmaker’s mission to break past cultural barriers and blur the line between genres. Marshmello also brought his global smash hit “El Merengue” to life with an explosive performance alongside Manuel Turizo. The high-energy act became the biggest party of the night on stage.

“I’ve had the pleasure of being able to perform all across the world and for me, nothing has ever been able to match the love and energy I’ve felt from the Latin community. Because of that, I knew it was important for me to find a way to bring my audience into this world as much as I could. Thank you to all Latinos for embracing me and allowing me to be a part of such an incredible culture,” Marshmello comments.

More recently, Marshmello received his first-ever Latin Grammy nomination for the 24th edition of the award ceremony. He was nominated for “El Merengue” featuring Manuel Turizo.

Continuously pushing the boundaries of the genre and dropping hits with Latin music’s most prominent artists, Marshmello teamed up with breakout Puerto Rican star Young Miko for the release of his latest single, “Tempo.” Earlier this year, Marshmello celebrated mega releases “Como Yo” featuring Tiago PZK, “Esta Vida” with Urbano powerhouse Farruko, and “El Merengue” alongside Manuel Turizo – which earned Marshmello’s first ever #1 on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay Chart. These Latin collaborations established a new era of Spanish music releases for Marshmello. Currently, Marshmello is gearing up for the anticipated release of Sugar Papi.
