Michelle Branch announces Iconery jewelry line

To celebrate the release of her forthcoming album, Michelle Branch teamed up with Los Angeles-based fine jewelry company, Iconery, creating a three piece “Hopeless Romantic” collection. First up is a memento mori skull and heart spinning pendant in 14K gold, Sterling Silver, and 14K gold vermeil, with the remaining two pieces available in the coming months.

“Michelle exemplifies the Iconery girl: creative, stylish, and multi-dimensional. We were thrilled when she chose to work with us to launch her first fine jewelry collection paired with the release of her album,” says Iconery Founder and CEO, Ivka Adam.

Andrea Linett, long-time friend of Michelle and Creative Director of Iconery, says she has always admired Michelle’s French girl-meets-Nashville style. “She has a great eclectic jewelry collection with a love for all things Victorian. When we discussed the dark romance of her album, it made perfect sense to draw upon the antique memento mori motif. This first piece is a cool spinning pendant that you can wear on either side, depending on your mood” Andrea explains.

“Michelle exemplifies the Iconery girl: creative, stylish, and multi-dimensional.”

The pieces are dual in nature: the pendant “represents both the hopeless darker side and romantic lighter side of falling in love, much like the song it was inspired by. You can turn the pendant to whichever side you’re feeling as you wear it!” Michelle adds.

When creating the collection, Michelle wanted an heirloom-like quality: pieces made of precious metals and stones that you could easily mix and match or wear on their own. Michelle reflects on the partnership stating that “Andrea has always been someone from whom I’ve found inspiration when it comes to effortless cool-girl style. When she started working with Iconery I watched from the sidelines as both a friend and a fan. I was thrilled when she asked if I would like to design my own collection. These are all pieces that I wear and they really reflect my romantic vintage style with a bit of tomboy edge.”

Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum singer-songwriter Michelle Branch will release her highly anticipated fourth studio album Hopeless Romantic on April 7th, through Verve Records. The album, primarily recorded in Los Angeles, and produced by Patrick Carney (The Black Keys) and Gus Seyffert (Beck, Norah Jones, Sia), weaves a tale of love both lost and found. “A lot of these songs are about heartbreak, but knowing that it doesn’t mean the end of the world. It just means letting go and moving on and knowing that you’re going to be okay,” says Branch. The title track is currently available for download at iTunes and to stream at Spotify and Apple Music.
