The star was taken into custody after an incident at Eric Church’s bar

Morgan Wallen was arrested late Sunday night (Apr 7th) on felony charges in Nashville, after being accused of throwing a chair off the sixth story of Eric Church’s newly opened Chief’s on Broadway.

According to News Channel 5, two Metro Nashville police officers were standing in front of the multi-entertainment complex when a chair hit the ground just feet from where they were standing. Staff members advised officers Wallen was responsible for throwing it. The officers watched the video showing Wallen “lunging and throwing an object over the roof.”

Witnesses report the 30-year-old country star laughed after the incident.

Wallen was arrested on three counts of reckless endangerment for the two officers and was charged with disorderly conduct.

“At 10:53p Sunday evening Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is cooperating fully with authorities,” his attorney Worrick Robinson states.

The bond was set at $15,250 which he posted. He’s due in court on May 3rd, the same night he wraps a two-night stand at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium as part of his 2024 One Night at a Time Tour.

Later this year, Wallen is set to open his own six-story multi-entertainment complex not far from Chief’s, called This Bar and Tennessee Kitchen. Wallen has partnered with trusted Broadway owner and operator TC Restaurant Group to bring his vision to life and deliver an experience true to himself and unique to the market.
