Motley Crue Funko Pop! dolls will be released in May 2018
The world’s most notorious rock band is getting the Funko Pop! treatment this spring. Wearing their classic leather outfits from the Shout At The Devil era, Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, and Mick Mars will all get their own figures as Motley Crue in stores this May.
The group shared the news via Facebook earlier this week, writing, “Now Listen Up! Motley Crue will be decked out in their best Shout at the Devil attire for their Funko Pop! debut – released in May 2018. More details soon…”

Motley Crue join Lemmy Kilmister, Metallica, Alice Cooper, Slash, Jimi Hendrix, KISS, Ozzy, The Beatles, and more to get their own Funko Pop! figure.
In other Crue news, their upcoming Netflix backed biopic, The Dirt, has its cast. Game of Thrones actor Iwan Rheon and Daniel Webber of The Punisher are in contract negotiations to play guitarist Mick Mars and vocalist Vince Neil, respectively, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Rapper Machine Gun Kelly will play drummer Tommy Lee and Douglas Booth will play bassist Nikki Sixx.
Jackass director Jeff Tremaine is attached to direct The Dirt, which has a script by Rich Wilkes, Tom Kapinos and Amanda Adelson. Production is set to begin soon.
A movie adaptation of “The Dirt: Confessions of the World’s Most Notorious Rock Band,” the group’s no-holds-barred account of their rise to top the ’80s Hollywood rock scene through excessive drugs, sex and rock and roll, has been in the works since 2003, a year after the autobiography was published. The film was previously being developed at Focus Films and Paramount Pictures, albeit separate times, but landed at Netflix in 2017.
“The Dirt” is not only one of the best selling rock books of all time, but also one of the greatest rock books of all time because of its brutal honesty, its unique voice, its multiple perspectives on the same events and its first-person inclusion of all members of the same band. Most rock memoirs are salacious mud-slinging accounts of a single person and Motley Crue was adamant to include the perspectives of all four of its members.
