Box set includes the remastered album on multiple formats

Just in time for Halloween, Mötley Crüe is commemorating the 40th anniversary of Shout at the Devil with a new multi-format box set. BMG will release Shout at the Devil: 40th Anniversary Edition on October 27th featuring the original album remastered, demos and rarities with a variety of demonic collectibles.

Included in the box set will be the original album remastered on orange/yellow splatter LP, CD and red cassette; Shout at the Devil Demos & Rarities on red/white splatter LP; “Looks That Kill” white seven-inch; “Too Young to Fall in Love” orange seven-inch; devil board with metal planchette; metal pentagram seven-inch adapter; pentagram felt bag; devil candle holder (candle not included); band member tarot cards; 12-inch by 12-inch pentagram seance board; and two 12-inch by 12-inch Shout at the Devil blood album cover litho art prints.

Released in 1983 at the height of the Satanic Panic, Shout at the Devil catapulted Mötley Crüe to superstardom. Delivering on the hype and promise of their Platinum debut Too Fast For Love, Mötley Crüe’s second album hit the US Top 20 and was certified four-times Platinum. For many music fans, Shout at the Devil was the first time they witnessed an album with this imagery and lyrical content on mainstream retail shelves.

The band recently wrapped the European run of The World Tour with Def Leppard. The US leg of the World Tour kicks off in August, including their first-ever show at the HA Chapman Stadium in Tulsa, OK. The tour is produced by Live Nation. Australian and Japanese dates are set for November.

The World Tour is an extension of last year’s The Stadium Tour which was named the biggest North American stadium tour of 2022 with more than 1.3 million tickets sold.

The trek is the first with new Mötley Crüe guitarist John 5 who’s replaced Mick Mars after leaving the band due to his health. The guitarist, who has suffered from Ankylosing Spondylitis since he was in his late teens, says the struggle is too painful to continue touring. An on going back and forth between Mars and his former bandmates continues publicly.

While in Europe, frontman Vince Neil confirmed with The Music Universe that multiple new tracks from the band are on the way and that they performed a “secret” London club show under the pseudonym Dögs of War that sold out instantly. Neil shared the news during an interview with us from London about judging the new AXS TV competition show Banded. The rocker also told us additional stadium shows are set for 2024 with more details forthcoming.
