The Music Universe is excited to announce that select episodes of The Music Universe Podcast can be streamed on Canyon Star TV starting July 7th. The new over-the-top (OTT) streaming platform is the ultimate “go-to” service for classic movies, documentaries, musical programs, and thousands of hours of wholesome family entertainment that can’t be found anywhere else.

Our show will be available alongside documentaries on Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette, Abba, and The Beatles, as well as popular shows such as Live at Billy Bob’s Texas, and other country lifestyle and Nashville-based programming. All episodes of The Music Universe Podcast will still be available through our website and current distributors via tmupod.com.

The Music Universe founder Buddy Iahn and reporter Matt Bailey co-host the weekly show that’s featured the likes of Garth Brooks, Gene Simmons, Def Leppard drummer Rick Allen, Dionne Warwick, Big Time Rush, Barry Williams, Kimberly Perry, Randy Travis, and countless others. The show often broadcasts from major music and entertainment events such as CMA Fest, Stagecoach and the National Finals Rodeo.

“Expanding our show is something Matt and I have dreamed of doing since launching it in 2019,” shares Iahn. “We’ve been given the rare opportunity of chatting with some of music’s biggest and brightest stars, and look forward to sharing that with more people on this new platform.”

“I am excited to be a part of Canyon Star TV, reaching tons more viewers who care about quality entertainment and music,” Bailey says. “I am excited that our conversations with music’s biggest stars will reach this new audience. We were thrilled to receive the invitation to join Joey Canyon and Kelly Kantz’s ever-growing library of programs.”

Canyon Star TV (CSTV) is a family-friendly television network founded by CEO Joey Canyon, a visionary media entrepreneur and award-winning country music singer-songwriter, recording artist, performer, actor, and producer. CSTV officially launched globally in early 2023 and offers the world wholesome family programming that celebrates traditional country and Americana music as well as a full spectrum of entertainment with unique and original content. Both Canyon and president and co-founder Kelly Kantz bring together their love for all aspects of the entertainment industry while providing viewers with something new, exciting, and enriching for the whole family.

“A little over five years ago, I had the vision of creating a streaming wholesome family network,” shares Canyon. “A safe haven where parents could watch television with the whole family without fear of questionable language, improper sexual situations, horror, gore, or violence. On January 27th of 2023, Canyon Star TV became a global reality, and a true blessing for me and Kelly Kantz, my co-founder and president. We will continue to provide the very best in quality family entertainment.”

“After years of discussing and planning Canyon Star TV with the owner and founder Joey Canyon, I am beyond excited to see all of our hard work come to fruition,” explains Kantz. “With the help of the wonderful producers and programmers, we have added fantastic programming and will continue to grow the outlet moving forward. I am very excited to share wonderful family-friendly programming with the world.”

Subscribers can use any streaming device to access a broad range of exclusive programming anytime, anywhere. Platforms include Google Play, Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV and Android TV.

We recently chatted with Canyon and Kantz about the network when they offered to add our show to their lineup.
