One day event returns to Las Vegas in October
Live Nation has announced that the When We Were Young Festival will return to Las Vegas this October. The single day emo punk event features My Chemical Romance and Paramore headlining with performances by AFI, The Used, Taking Back Sunday, Dashboard Confessional, Alkaline Trio, I Prevail, Avril Lavigne, Jimmy Eat World and dozens of others performing on Saturday, October 22nd from 11 am until 11 pm at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.
Ticket pre-sales start Friday, January 21st at 10 am PT with the on sale at 2 pm PT the same day via Ticketmaster. General Admission tickets start at $224.99 and include performances all day on three stages, food choices from regional and local vendors and access to bars, concessions, band and festival merch and more. A layaway plan can be selected for $19.99 down.
VIP options include a dedicated viewing area by the main stage, air conditioned restrooms, dedicated entry lane and charging stations. VIP Cabana options include a roped-off viewing area with security, shade and VIP service; complimentary two bottles of a premium liquor and champagne; food vouchers and more.
The event marks the return of Paramore after a four year hiatus. My Chemical Romance reunited in 2019 after a six year separation. TikTok stars jxdn and LilHuddy are also on the bill.
