Event takes place April 22nd in Baltimore
Night Ranger is set to headline Rock from the Heart 2023 taking place Saturday, April 22nd at The Hippodrome Theatre at France-Merrick Performing Arts Center in Baltimore. The inaugural benefit concert will raise funds to support aortic disease awareness and education initiatives while spending the night rocking with one of America’s legendary hit makers.
Rock from the Heart is partnering with Maryland based Aortic Hope for the inaugural Baltimore benefit concert. Aortic Hope founder, president, and host of AHTV Week in Review, Carin Andersen, is a survivor of type A and B aortic dissection. Carin also serves as president of ThinkAorta.us. The Think Aorta US campaign is committed to saving lives by increasing the correct identification and diagnosis of aortic dissection.

The concert will be preceded by an aortic health symposium on Friday, April 21st featuring some of the nation’s leading experts in aortic disease diagnosis and management.
Frontman Jack Blades was hospitalized last week while on tour due to “heart irregularities,” but is now home recovering after a “successful procedure.” The hospitalization forced the band to postpone three concerts in California, Utah and Nevada which have been rescheduled for October. The band currently plans to play all remaining shows as scheduled.
Pete and Amy Johnson formed Rock from the Heart after Pete was diagnosed with an aortic aneurysm and aortic valve disease, and they struggled to find consistent information on the disease.
