Oldie’s will open in the summer of 2024

Old Dominion will open Oldie’s, a new bar in Nashville’s Midtown neighborhood near Music Row. The multi-platinum-selling country band has teamed with Good Time Design for the new complex, set to open in the summer of 2024 at 1919 Division Street, replacing ReBar with their No Bad Vibes appeal.

“We’re so excited to announce that we’re teaming with Good Time Design to open a new bar in Nashville’s Midtown neighborhood,” the band shares. “Midtown has played such a role in the history of our band. From chilling at the bar after writing to playing weekly into the wee hours of the morning and even recently playing Whiskey Jam to launch our tour…. It’s an important neighborhood for not only upcoming artists and writers but also for locals and visitors who want a good place they know they can go and have a good time. Oldies Bar will be that neighborhood bar for us all.”

Oldie’s will be located near Red Door, Losers, and Winners, all industry hangouts. The band’s core songwriters — Trevor Rosen, Matthew Ramsey and Brad Tursi — used to frequent establishments in the area after writing sessions. They say the location is core to keep the focus on the music.

“We didn’t quite know what it was, but we also knew what we were missing. The more we talked, the more we realized we wanted a bar like the places we went to when we were just having our first cuts, hanging out with other writers,” says Rosen. “We wanted it to be a place where a group of songwriters who might have a band could play or someone starting out might be able to be part of a writer’s thing and get heard. You know, pay it forward because all these years later, we know it works. That’s much better than just a temple to who we think we are.”

Old Dominion is the latest artist prepping to open a bar. Morgan Wallen, Jon Bon Jovi and Eric Church are set to open entertainment complexes in Nashville’s Lower Broad district with Luke Combs revamping the famous Wild Horse Saloon on 2nd Ave. Last month, Garth Brooks opened his Friends in Low Places in the famous honky tonk district, joining the likes of Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton, Kid Rock, Miranda Lambert, Hank Williams, Jr., Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Alan Jackson, and others.

Good Time Design is an all-encompassing hospitality and entertainment group based in San Diego and Nashville, created by businessman and hospitality entrepreneur Ty Hauter in 2006. The company has rapidly grown to own and operate numerous unique establishments, including Cerveza Jack’s, a south-of-the-border live music eatery, and acquiring the former The George Jones Museum, a 40,000 square foot entertainment venue, both in the heart of downtown Music City.
