Get ready for the New Year with AXS TV, as the network presents a day of unforgettable performances by some of music’s biggest names in New Year’s Eve Top Ten Concert Countdown on Monday, December 31st.

The block is emceed by Katie Daryl, host of the AXS TV music countdown series The Top Ten Revealed, and kicks off at 10 am ET with a tribute to the men and women of America’s Armed Forces in Guitar Legends For Heroes — hosted by Trace Adkins and Eddie Trunk, with performances by Nancy Wilson, Richie Sambora, Dave Navarro, Billy Gibbons, and more. Next, Paul McCartney soars with Wings in a hit-fueled evening featuring “Lady Madonna” and “Band On The Run” in Paul McCartney & Wings: Rockshow at 11:05 am ET; and blues superstar Joe Bonamassa puts his six-string skills on full display in Joe Bonamassa: Live From The Royal Albert Hall with Eric Clapton at 1:40 pm ET.

Mid afternoon kicks off a pair of star-studded tributes to two true country trailblazers, starting at 2:45 pm ET with Volunteer Jam XX: A Tribute To Charlie Daniels, featuring performances by Daniels, Alabama, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ricky Skaggs, and Travis Tritt; followed by We Walk The Line: A Celebration Of The Music Of Johnny Cash with Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow, and Kris Kristofferson at 4:45 pm ET. Then, guitar maestro Carlos Santana takes the stage at one of the most important and influential concert events of all time in Santana Live At The 1982 US Festival at 6:15 pm ET; and The Rolling Stones deliver a historic set in front of 1.2 million fans, blazing through “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” “Paint It Black,” “Brown Sugar,” and more, in Rolling Stones: Havana Moon at 7:30 pm ET.

The block continues at 9:30 pm ET with Joe Walsh and his band Barnstorm reuniting for a one-night-only performance in The Rocky Mountain Way, featuring appearances by Garth Brooks, Amy Grant, Vince Gill, and The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Then, The Red Rocker turns 70 in style in Red ‘Til I’m Dead: Sammy Hagar’s Rock N’ Roll Birthday Bash with Toby Keith, Eddie Money, Bob Weir, Vinnie Paul, and more, at 11 pm ET. And ring in the New Year with Metallica at midnight ET as the metal masterminds storm into France on their 2008 World Magnetic Tour, performing colossal hits such as “Fade To Black,” “One,” “Sad But True,” “Master Of Puppets,” “Enter Sandman,” “Motorbreath,” and more, live in an actual gladiator arena in Metallica: Francais Pour Une Nuit.
