Rock icon returns to the road after final tour

Peter Frampton has announced his return to the road for the Never Say Never Tour. The extensive trek kicks off June 21st in Huber Heights, OH and sees the rock icon play through August 19th in Sandy, UT.

Last year’s Peter Frampton Finale — The Farewell Tour presented by SiriusXM was announced as the guitarist’s final trek due to his diagnosis of the degenerative muscle disease Inclusion-Body Myositus (IBM). However, Frampton says he still feels like he’s able to continue touring.

“At the end of every Finale Tour show I did say, ‘Never Say Never’ and I am always full of hope for the impossible,” he says in a social media video. “I’m very pleased to let you know that I am feeling strong and my fingers are still roaming the fretboard. Every note I play now has more meaning and soul. I love playing live and this fighter wants to stay in the ring for as long as he can. I’m so happy to be able to see you all one more time this summer.”

Pre-sale tickets start in select markets beginning Wednesday, April 13th at 10 am local time. The general on sale starts Friday, April 14th at 10 am local time via Ticketmaster.
