The album drops this summer

Post Malone has officially announced that his country album is called F-1 Trillion and will be available on August 16th via UMG. The rapper-turned-country star shared the news via social media which featured an image of a billboard in Nashville with “The name of the new Post Malone album is” with F-1 Trillion written on a brake light.

The album features a variety of country collaborations, including Morgan Wallen on “I Had Some Help.” The song, which is spending its fifth consecutive week at the top of the country charts, earned 167 first-week adds on country radio, becoming only the second single in chart history to debut with the support of all reporting stations, behind Garth Brooks’ “Long Neck Bottle” in 1997. The single also opened at No. 15 on the Mediabase chart, the second-highest debut of the monitored era only behind Brooks’ “More Than A Memory” in 2007.

“I Had Some Help” broke Spotify’s single-day country streaming record with nearly 14 million streams on Friday, May 10th. The song debuted at No. 1 on Spotify’s Global Daily chart and became the streamer’s No. 1 male collaboration debut of all time. “I Had Some Help” also topped Apple Music’s Global chart and was No. 1 on Pandora’s Top Thumbed chart upon release.

The single and album follow Malone’s Stagecoach 2024 in Indio, California in April where he performed country covers and welcomed guest superstars Brad Paisley, Sara Evans, and Dwight Yoakam during the standout performance. The next night, Malone joined Wallen on stage for the live debut of “I Had Some Help” in front of the sold-out crowd.

Malone is set to release the album’s second single, “Pour Me A Drink,” with Blake Shelton on Friday, June 21st. Luke Combs is also set to appear on the project, although other artists are under wraps.

Malone has been making his way around Nashville lately. Last night, he made a surprise appearance at the famed Bluebird Cafe where he performed “I Had Some Help” with Lainey Wilson and Ashley Gorley acoustically during a songwriter round. He also performed with Shelton earlier this month at CMA Fest.
