Post Malone’s ‘F-1 Trillion’ truck goes on tour

The truck’s cross-country move is the latest to come from Raising Cane’s and Todd Graves’ partnership with Post Malone

Hot on the (w)heels of Post Malone’s highly-anticipated F-1 Trillion country album release, the iconic blue 1971 F-150 truck featured on the album’s cover art is on the move en route to West Valley City, Utah, for the first stop on Malone’s F-1 Trillion Tour. The 1971 F-150 truck is hitting the open roads as the first leg of Malone’s tour starts September 8th at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre in West Valley City, Utah. The tour, which concludes on October 27th at the Germania Insurance Amphitheater in Austin, Texas, was named one of the most anticipated tours of 2024, with many hoping that the shows will include surprise guest appearances by album collaborators.

Heading out from Nashville, the truck will arrive at Raising Cane’s Post Malone x Dallas Cowboys collab Restaurant located at 2255 W Northwest Highway, Dallas, TX 75220, and be available for pictures through Thursday, August 29th before departing for Midvale. Fans who snap their picture with the truck and upload it to Instagram with #CanesF1TrillionDallas will be entered to win two tickets for one of four Texas shows including Houston on October 22nd and 23rd and Austin on October 26th and 27th. After seeing the truck, fans can step inside the custom Post Malone x Dallas Cowboys Restaurant, which debuted last October and was designed by Raising Cane’s owner and founder Todd Graves and his good friend Malone. Standing at 32 feet, the exterior features the iconic Dallas Cowboys star and is adorned by pictures of Post Malone and a patio reminiscent of Malone’s favorite game – “pong.” The interior features a vending machine with exclusive collab merch, a fan mailbox, vintage Cowboys memorabilia, and a knight suit replica of the 1400s Gothic Armor produced in the 1800s. Additional nods to Post’s signature style include his jorts and sneakers, broken guitars, and outfits worn by him at Posty Fest in 2019 and from the “I Like You” music video. In addition to the Post-inspired design elements, Customers have the opportunity to order their Box Combo the “Posty Way,” which includes four Chicken Fingers, crinkle-cut fries, two Cane’s Sauces, two Cane’s toasts, extra salt and pepper packets, and a half unsweet tea/lemonade, like Malone drinks.

Following its pit stop in Dallas, the truck heads onward to Utah, where it will park for pictures at Post Malone’s first collab Restaurant with Raising Cane’s located at 890 E Fort Union Blvd, Midvale, UT, 84047 from Sunday, September 1st through Saturday, September 7th, except for Monday, September 2nd to observe Labor Day. Fans are encouraged to post and share their pictures on Instagram with #CanesF1TrillionMidvale to be entered to win four tickets to each of Malone’s Utah stops on September 8th and 9th. Post’s personally-designed restaurant in Midvale opened on April 13, 2023, and features a pink-wrapped exterior, displays of Post’s outfits and guitars on the walls, a ping pong track system running throughout the restaurant, a vending machine for exclusive collab merch and more. Fans can get their fix by ordering the “Posty Way” and enjoying their half unsweet tea/lemonade out of a signature collector’s cup.

The signature blue 1971 F-150 truck featured on the F-1 Trillion cover art was posted to Post’s Instagram on June 21st and showed a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the album cover, including the use of a crane to suspend the nose of the truck just above the water. The art was created by Gonzalo Lebrija, a renowned modern artist who has become a leading figure in Mexico’s multi-media scene, crafting a range of works including sculptures and visual illusions. The cover draws inspiration from previous pieces in Lebrija’s catalog, particularly “As Time Goes By,” which featured a car suspended on a lake in a similar way to the artwork for F-1 Trillion. In Post’s version, the car is replaced by the iconic two-tone blue truck as a nod to the inspiration behind the title, which is a cheeky play on the classic Ford F-150 4×4. While Lebrija put together the artwork, the creative direction was led by PlayLab Inc., which also took the lead for Post and Morgan Wallen’s “I Had Some Help” album cover – another visual nod to the overarching truck theme. The artwork – much like the title F-1 Trillion – captures how Post immersed himself into the world of country music while still putting his spin on the genre and not losing sight of his signature sound.

The truck tour marks the latest work in Post’s partnership with Raising Cane’s, which began from a conversation between him and Graves. Growing up eating Cane’s, Post made a personal request to open a restaurant by his home in Midvale, UT. Graves was excited about the idea and the duo kicked off the partnership with a restaurant in Midvale, which was personally designed by Post, and continued with the launch of a series of collector’s cups, a National Chicken Finger Day skit, and more. In October of 2023, Raising Cane’s opened the doors to its Post Malone x Dallas Cowboys collab Restaurant, which continues to draw visitors from across the country.

The Grammy Award-nominated and five-time diamond-certified artist released his sixth album on August 16th after a stint in Nashville recording booths with iconic country music legends including Morgan Wallen, Dolly Parton, Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, Brad Paisley, Chris Stapleton, Ernest, Blake Shelton, Hank Williams Jr, Tim McGraw, Jelly Roll, Hardy, Billy Strings, and Sierra Ferrell. The album, which was first teased when he released “I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen, turned the heads of country music fans and captured the headlines and ears of America following the duo’s first performance at Stagecoach in April. After generating excitement for the album’s release throughout the summer with the drop of additional singles including “Guy for That” with Luke Combs – where the duo filmed their music video in front of Raising Cane’s new Nashville Flagship on Broadway – and “Pour Me a Drink” with Blake Shelton, Post was introduced by Brad Paisley at his Grand Ole Opry debut two days before releasing F-1 Trillion, officially cementing his status as a multi-faceted country music star.

The album and its extended deluxe version landed atop several Billboard charts, including the Top 200, Top Country Albums, Top Streaming Albums, and Top Album Sales, this week. Malone is the first artist to have No. 1 albums on Billboard’s Top Country, Rap, Rock, and Alternative Albums charts. His last No. 1 project was 2018’s Beerbongs & Bentleys which had a three-week reign.
