Group was set to kick off tour this weekend

The Pretty Reckless has canceled this shows this weekend due to Taylor Momsen testing positive for COVID-19. The announcement came Thursday (July 7th), one day before the group was set to kick off its co-headlining tour with Halestorm.

“Despite our best efforts, COVID finally bit. We could not wait to get back on the road with our friends in Halestorm, but wait we will have to,” they share on social media. “We’re following CDC guidelines and we’ll be missing this weekend’s shows in Detroit, Milwaukee and Kansas City. We hope to feel better soon and will make it out to the very first venue we can.”

While the group’s message didn’t specify who was affected, Momsen posted a photo of a positive COVID test with the caption, “Yup…FML” on Instagram around the same time
