The mazes open this weekend in 23 states

This fall, Reba McEntire is being immortalized in corn mazes throughout the United States. More than 40 farms in 23 states are honoring the country icon with specifically designed corn mazes to celebrate her upcoming Not That Fancy book and album.

“While l admit being in a corn maze is one of the more unique things I’ve ever been invited to be a part of, I couldn’t be more excited to be involved with some of the things that matter most to me — farming, family, and friends,” McEntire says. “Growing up on a ranch in Oklahoma, I know how important agriculture is, and I love being involved with something that brings more people out to farms across the country for good wholesome fun!”

Farms in Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Indiana, Maryland, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington and Wyoming are opening the mazes to the public beginning on Saturday, September 16th.

While navigating the mazes, guests will look for clues and play an interactive game quizzing them on how much they know about the country music legend. Participants will enjoy photo ops, music and prizes along the way. The farms will reach more than a million visitors during the fall season.

Along with getting lost in the maze, guests will have the opportunity to enter to win a grand prize trip to Nashville for a one-night-only special event, Not That Fancy: An Evening with Reba & Friends set for November 5th at Nashville’s iconic Ryman Auditorium. The prize will also include a two-night stay at Hotel Fraye.

Additionally, one winner from each farm will receive an autographed copy of Reba’s upcoming book Not That Fancy.

Not That Fancy: Simple Lessons on Living, Loving, Eating, and Dusting Off Your Boots is set to go on sale on Tuesday, October 10th via Harper Celebrate. The book is an enchanting collection of funny, poignant, and deeply personal stories, photos, lifestyle tips, and recipes from the multi-faceted superstar.

Not that Fancy includes over 50 recipes from Reba’s family traditions and her restaurant Reba’s Place; never-before-seen photographs and never-before-told stories from Reba’s personal and professional life and simple, not-that-fancy lifestyle tips.

The book’s companion album, entitled Not That Fancy, features Reba teaming with Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb to record stripped-down versions of some of her most iconic songs. The 14-track collection will also feature the new single “Seven Minutes In Heaven” and will be available on October 6th via MCA Nashville.
