Hunt has been married since 2017

Hannah Lee Fowler, the wife of country superstar Sam Hunt, has not changed her mind about divorcing the country singer after all. According to TMZ, Fowler withdrew her divorce filing with “voluntarily nonsuited without prejudice” hours after filing on February 18th because her lawyers filed it in the wrong county, not because she had a change of heart.

While further details are unclear, it’s likely the couple doesn’t live in Davidson County, where Nashville lies. Therefore, the paperwork was refiled in the correct county nearby.

Fowler citied infidelity as the reason during the initial filing. She claims that Hunt is “guilty of inappropriate marital conduct” and “the husband is guilty of such cruel and inhuman treatment or conduct toward the spouse as renders cohabitation unsafe or improper.”

The paperwork also revealed that the couple is expecting their first child together in May. They have not shared the pregnancy news publicly and neither Hunt nor Fowler have addressed the issue.

Fowler has asked for transitional, rehabilitative and future alimony, along with primary custody of their unborn child and child support. She is also asking that both parties “be awarded their respective separate property,” which suggests a prenup was signed before the couple wed in 2017.
