Band is set to headline Buffalo and Pittsburgh

Metallica has announced its only two summer US shows for 2022. The band will play Buffalo’s Highmark Stadium on August 11th and Pittsburgh’s PNC Park on August 14th. Both shows will see Greta Van Fleet and Ice Nine Kills support.

Presale tickets for both shows will be available to Metallica Legacy Fan Club members at 9 am ET and General Fan Club members at 11 am ET on Monday, February 28th. All presales will end Thursday, March 3rd at 10 pm ET. Tickets to both go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 4th at 10 am ET via Ticketmaster.

For the show in Pittsburgh at PNC Park, travel packages that include tickets, hotel accommodations, and an exclusive poster will also be available courtesy of MetallicaTravel.com/Pittsburgh. Travel package holders will be hosted at the Wyndham Grand Pittsburgh Downtown, a short 15-minute walk across the river from PNC Park in the heart of downtown. Package options include either two or four tickets GA Floor Tickets and will also be available during the fan club presale.

The band last played both stadiums consecutively in July 1992.

Metallica is set to take the stage at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium Friday (Feb 25th) for a sold out show. Then, they head to South America for six rescheduled shows in Chile, Argentina and Brazil from April through May. The group returns to the US for a series of festival appearances including BottleRock and Boston Calling. This June and July also sees them traveling Europe for nearly a dozen shows.
