Queen Of Me is officially No. 1

It was a two-horse race to the top against British pop-soul singer Raye all week, but Canadian country-pop icon Shania Twain succeeds in reaching the summit with her sixth studio LP, Queen of Me. Prior to this, Twain enjoyed UK chart-topping success with Come On Over in 1998 and Now in 2017.

Queen Of Me also tops the Official Vinyl Albums Chart, having sold the most copies on wax this week.

“I’m very happy! Thank you very much to all of my fans for still being here for me. For still being the ones!” Twain says of the accolade. “I hope you love the album and that it cheers you up; that’s the idea. It’s my happy album. I look forward to seeing you all out on tour. Thank you!”

The album also cracks the top five upon its debut on the Aria charts in Australia. It’s her sixth top 20 Down Under, joining Come On Over in 1997, Up in 2002 and Now in 2017 leading the pact.

The US charts have yet to be officially released, but Twain is vying for the top spot with competition from Raye on the Billboard Top 200, according to Billboard.

Queen of Me is available in multiple configurations, including a signed edition, Target with two bonus tracks, Walmart with alternate cover, multiple vinyl editions and a digital karaoke edition with an exclusive audio note from Twain.

To celebrate this new era, she will also embark on a global Queen of Me Tour, produced by Live Nation. The tour marks the first time fans around the world will get to see the queen in all of her glory in nearly five years, following a highly successful Vegas residency run. Kelsea Ballerini, Lindsay Ell, Hailey Whitters, Breland, Robyn Ottolini, Priscilla Block, and Mickey Guyton, Lily Rose, Talk, and Tinelle Townes will be joining select dates throughout the tour.

The Queen of Me Tour kicks off on Friday, April 28th at Spokane Arena in Spokane, WA and makes stops across North America and Europe in Vancouver, Denver, Toronto, Los Angeles, New York, London, Dublin and more before wrapping up on November 14th at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC.
