Song follows “It’ll Be Okay”
Shawn Mendes has debuted his new single “When You’re Gone” via Island Records. The track was written by Mendes, Jonah Shy, and Scott Harris and produced by Mendes and Jonah Shy. “When You’re Gone” follows the December 2021 release of “It’ll Be Okay.”
Mendes has also premiered the video that was directed by Jay Martin. It was shot in Toronto and Austin across multiple days capturing the actual recording, rehearsing, and first ever live performance of the song at SXSW.
Mendes is currently on the European leg of his Wonder: The World Tour. The trek comes Stateside on June 27th in Portland, OR and will hit cities including Brooklyn, Los Angeles, and Miami before wrapping the North American leg in Newark, NJ on October 26th. Mendes will be joined by special guest Tate McRae.
