“Murda” with Bilal is available now
Epic Records and Grammy Award-winning iconic producer, rapper, DJ, entrepreneur, and cultural connoisseur Swizz Beatz unleash the ominous third single from Godfather of Harlem: Season 3 entitled “Murda” featuring Busta Rhymes & Bilal.
Rhymes shows out with a rapid-fire lyrical onslaught befitting of his reputation as one of the most uncompromising and undeniable spitters of all time. He channels classic New York hip hop with elite verbal acrobatics. Meanwhile, Philly vocal powerhouse Bilal pulls up with a soulful counterpoint to Busta’s fireworks.
It lands in the wake of Dave East’s “Damn.” The latter arrived on the heels of “Hustle, Repeat” featuring Swizz Beatz & Jadakiss.
Each Friday, a new track will debut in advance of Sunday’s new episode of Godfather of Harlem.
This marks Swizz’s third season as executive producer of the soundtrack. The music from the first two seasons has amassed tens of millions of streams and counting.
The series airs every Sunday at 9 pm ET/6 pm PT on MGM+. It stars and is executive produced by Forest Whitaker and produced by ABC Signature, a part of Disney Television Studios.
