Taylor Swift’s 11th full-length studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, shattered countless records upon release, including the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Notably, “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone has landed on top of the Billboard Hot 100 this week. “Fortnight” becomes Taylor’s seventh Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 debut, and her 12th overall No. 1 on the chart.

The project makes Swift the only artist to ever hold the entire top 14 on the Hot 100. It also breaks the record for most consecutive new albums with a Hot 100 No. 1 hit with eight and broke the record for most simultaneous Hot 100 debuts with 31.

Swift is the only artist ever to hold the entire top 10 on the Hot 100 twice and ties for most No. 1 hits on the Hot 100 this decade. She’s the first female artist to earn at least 50 top 10 hits on the Hot 100, and the first female artist with 12 No. 1 hits on the Hot 100 and 12 No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200.

Swift has become the only artist to debut seven albums with over one million units sold in their first week. She’s the No. 1 best-selling artist by total album units in the US in 2024 as the project breaks the record for the biggest first-week global Spotify streams for any album in under four days of release as well as her record for most single-day streams for an artist catalog in global Spotify history with 380 million. She’s the fastest artist reach ten billion streams on Spotify in a calendar year. She has broken the record for most No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 this century, extending her record as a soloist with the most weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and the most weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Artist 100 at 106 weeks.
