Band expands reunion tour
The Black Crowes’ Chris and Rich Robinson have announced 2022 dates for their reunion tour. The US trek kicks off June 9th in Ft. Lauderdale, FL with stops in Jacksonville, Huntsville, Atlantic City, Reno, Salt Lake City and others before wrapping August 27th in Miami.
The group is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Shake Your Money Maker, which will be performed in its entirety, plus all of their hits. Before the tour starts, they have a slew of festival appearances lined up including Stagecoach, New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival and Napa Valley Expo.
A band presale begins February 23rd. General on sale and VIP packages for most shows start February 25th at 10 am local time via Ticketmaster. The band is offering a free, exclusive NFT tour poster with each ticket sold through Ticketmaster in North America. It’s the company’s first artist NFT partnership.
The brothers, who disbanded the group in 2015, reunited in 2019 with plans to tour in 2020, but were sidelined due to the pandemic. The trek officially got underway in late 2021 that resulted in four shows in Las Vegas.
