New song and video available now

The Smile has released its new single and video “Skrting On The Surface,” available now via XL Records.

The video was shot in 16mm black and white by BAFTA-winning writer/director Mark Jenkin in the depths of the disused Rosevale Tin Mine in Cornwall UK, and hand developed in water from the mine.

“Skrting On The Surface” is the third single from The Smile, the new group comprising Thom Yorke, his Radiohead bandmate Jonny Greenwood and Sons Of Kemet’s Tom Skinner.

Previously, The Smile released “The Smoke” and an accompanying remix by Dennis Bovell, as well as “You Will Never Work In Television Again” — the debut single.
