The band previewed the album ahead of its April 1st release

Tomorrow X Together (TXT) has released its sixth mini album, Minisode 3: Tomorrow via BigHit Music. The project consists of seven tracks that boast an array of sounds and moods that showcase the K-pop superstars’ iconic musical prowess—”I’ll See You There Tomorrow,” “- — — — ·-· ·-· — ·–”, lead single “Deja Vu,” “Miracle,” “The Killa (I Belong to You),” “Quarter Life,” and “Deja Vu (Anemoia Remix).”

The group featuring Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai previewed the album to the media from South Korea before its release on Monday (Apr 1st). Besides performing, TXT discussed the project that visually incorporates iconic and nostalgic elements from its discography to connect the band’s multifaceted overarching narrative.

“I couldn’t wait to be back so I’m just thrilled to be back with a new album,” Hueningkai shares. “This time around, I truly felt we’ve grown and become a lot more experienced, and I’m very happy with what we’ve created with this album, and I hope you’ll enjoy it as well.”

“Returning with a new album always makes me really thrilled and excited,” Yeonjun states. “We put a lot of thought into this album and made a lot of changes to be sure it could be as good as it can get, so I can’t wait to share it with [fan club members] Moa, and can’t wait to figure out how you’re going to respond to it.”

“Since the word tomorrow is in the name of this album, I think this album really embodies the identity of our fans,” adds Taehyun. “The message conveyed both with sound and visuals, I hope, is persuasive and touches your heart. I hope it’s kind of romantic to you and that’s what I’m looking forward to achieving.”

“This album illustrates a nostalgic tale about a long-forgotten promise in a boy’s journey to find youth. Tomorrow where we’ll be together is my beacon of hope and my source of salvation, so it’s Tomorrow X Together’s unique salvation narrative that this album delivers,” Soobin comments.

“The reason we continue with the storytelling is firstly, because it’s our story and also because the story connects from the former to the next so I feel like it brings you in and lets you immerse into our world,” Beomgyu adds.

The band explains the origins of “Deja Vu” which mashes rap, rage, and emo rock into captivating hybrid pop, giving a fresh, but classic sound to its K-pop sound.

“Our lead single ‘Deja Vu’ is a song that tells about the moment in the future when we’ll meet again — feels like a deja vu. The narrative of the song blends perfectly with its sophisticated arrangement and it will lead you with a whistful and overwhelming feeling,” Hueningkai shares. “Before we started recording, we thought long and hard about how to express the emotional development of the song. We focused on portraying that whistful kinda feeling and when I listened to the final output with all of my bandmates’ voices, I was very satisfied with the vibe we pulled off.”

The leading voice of Gen Z will also embark on the US leg of their world tour Act: Promise starting May 14th, performing 11 concerts in eight cities, including Tacoma, Oakland, Los Angeles, Houston, Atlanta, New York City, Rosemont, and Washington, DC. Additional tour dates and cities will be announced later.

Minisode 3: Tomorrow is the first album the group is planning to release in 2024.
