New single & video now available

Country music purist and often funnyman Trey Lewis releases his new single, “My Ex Came Over.” In the track and video, Lewis tells the “same old story” of hooking up with an ex after swearing each other off for good.

“I had an ex come over one night after a breakup and the next morning I came up with a song idea,” Lewis shares. “I brought it to my write that day with Jake Rose and Joel Hutsell. I’ve learned some things don’t always go as planned. Share this with your friends if you can relate. Love y’all.”

Lewis has been redefining the boundaries of country music since the release of his 2020 NSFW single, “Dicked Down in Dallas.” The self-released profane track topped out at No. 12 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart in December 2020 after fans began using the song in TikTok videos.

The Birmingham, AL native cites Garth Brooks as a big influence and moved to Nashville before the pandemic. Since relocating to Music City, he’s been writing, recording and winning over fans throughout the country with his high energy live performances and diverse mixture of country music.

Lewis didn’t just go viral on TikTok and start playing shows, he has been touring for years playing cover music all over the southeast. Along with his own dates, Lewis can currently be seen opening shows for Kid Rock, Foreigner and Grand Funk Railroad on their Bad Reputation Tour through September.
