New edition is available digitally in Aug

Trisha Yearwood is celebrating 30 years in country music with a deluxe edition of her latest album, Every Girl, on August 13th. The 2019 project is being updated with a new cover and three bonus tracks, including a newly recorded acoustic version of her debut single, “She’s In Love With The Boy,” she and husband Garth Brooks’ cover of A Star Is Born smash, “Shallow,” and the soaring piano-laden ballad “I Dare You to Love.”

“Boy” vaulted to No. 1 in 1991, cementing Yearwood as the first female country artist to have a debut single reach the top of the country charts.

“We had no idea it would make history,” she tells People exclusively about the song. “It had apparently been around for a few years and had never found the right home. Lucky me!”

The Every Girl album was her first full-length country record since 2007’s critically acclaimed Heaven, Heartache and the Power of Love and followed on the heels of the 2019 Frank Sinatra homage, Let’s Be Frank.

Upon its release in June 2019, Yearwood made a history-making return to country radio with “Every Girl In This Town,” the lead single from the project. With 84 total adds, it marked Yearwood’s highest debut and biggest add day of her career. The hit song is Billboard’s Highest Female Debut of 2019 on the Country Airplay Chart, coming in at No. 21, and the No. 4 Highest Billboard Country Radio Debut in 2019. It was also Billboard’s No. 1 Greatest Gainer on the Country Airplay Chart for the week. Additionally, Mediabase reports the 2nd Highest Female Debut and 8th Highest Debut All Country of 2019.

Only July 22nd, Yearwood will topline CMT Campfire Sessions where she will strip down some of her biggest hits, share new music and swap stories with friends fireside for an intimate night of music.

Later this fall, she will release her latest cookbook, Trisha’s Kitchen, featuring 125 comfort food recipes and family favorites that are simple to prepare and will bring loved ones together, plus fun family stories and photos.
