Booth brings warmth and sincerity in comforting new single
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (May 16, 2025) – Kentucky-raised viral streamer Tyler Booth brings warmth and sincerity in his new single, “Sunshine,” available now on all digital platforms. The uplifting tune melts into a gentle guitar riff comparing his lover to sunshine. “I kept wondering when you’d show, I lost faith a time or two” but ultimately, “you’re warming up my soul.” The song was written solely by Booth.
“I wrote sunshine about a person in my life that brightens my day,” Booth says of the release. “f you have someone in your life that does that for you, and helps you live on the bright side a little more than you’re used to, then this one will strike a chord.”
“Sunshine” follows “Talkin’ White Trash,” the first track from his upcoming EP Downdown, due out in June. The official video for “Talkin’ White Trash,” out last Friday, was inspired by his own small town upbringing and finds Booth dancing between the contrasting lifestyles of backwoods simplicity and wealthy excess.
Leaning into his Appalachian roots, Campton, Kentucky-raised viral streamer Tyler Booth has always let the music lead in his career. Drawing inspiration from his rural upbringing and artists like Jamey Johnson, Waylon Jennings, and Merle Haggard, as well as some of the greats native to his area, like Keith Whitley, Sturgill Simpson, Chris Stapleton, and Tyler Childers, Booth’s rootsy, back porch pickin’ sound and warm baritone vocals has won favor with well over 1 million collective social fans, who all together have streamed his music over 100 million times
