Van Morrison 2016 BBC Radio show coming to multi formats

Van Morrison’s intimate 2016 show at the BBC Radio Theatre, as part of the critically acclaimed BBC Radio 2 In Concert Series, is coming to multiple formats on February 16th on Blu-ray and DVD. In Concert features the six-time Grammy Award winning Irish singer performing a selection of tracks, old and new, from his iconic back catalogue. A digital release will be available via iTunes on January 16th.

In an up-close and personal show, described as, “Sublime” (The Radio Times) Morrison’s richly oaky voice brings musical healing. With songs including his classic hit “Brown Eyed Girl” as well as “Wild Night”, “Cleaning Windows” and new track, “Keep Me Singing”, this incredible performance celebrates the Celtic soul troubadour’s 53 years as a musical innovator at the top of his game.

Bonus features include the “Up On Cyprus Avenue” concert, a milestone show recorded on Van Morrison’s 70th birthday.
