Waxwork Records has released “I Got You Babe,” featuring performances by Sheri Moon Zombie and Jeff Daniel Phillips, as a deluxe 12-inch single pressed to 180-gram yellow vinyl. The Sonny & Cher remake, produced by Rob Zombie and Zeuss, is featured in Zombie’s forthcoming The Munsters film. The single’s B-side features an etching of the two kooky love birds and is housed in a psychedelic heavyweight jacket with matte satin coating presented with all new art by Rob Zombie. The song is currently streaming.
Waxwork is also offering a 12-inch single of “It’s Zombo” and “The House Of Zombo” featuring performances from Zombie, Phillips and wife and actress Sheri Moon Zombie. The deluxe ghoul white vinyl is housed in a haunted heavyweight jacket with matte satin coating presented with all new art by Zombie.
In the film, Zombie digs up the origin story of everyone’s favorite monster family The Munsters, in a hilarious and heartfelt comedy about Lily and Herman’s courtship that is sure to surprise and delight fans of all ages. The film, set to premiere on Netflix this fall, showcases Zombie’s signature stylized look and vibrant color palette.
Universal Pictures Home Entertainment and Universal 1440 Entertainment have announced that the film will be available to own as a Collector’s Edition on Digital, Blu-ray, and DVD on September 27th. Packed with zany humor, larger-than-life characters, and a groovy 60’s vibe, The Munsters physical edition is filled with over an hour of exclusive content including unseen behind-the-scenes footage with writer and director Rob Zombie and cast as well as feature commentary with Zombie, taking viewers deeper into this hauntingly sidesplitting adventure and the kooky undead family, just in time for Halloween.
