Remix features Kaytranada
The Weeknd teams up with Kaytranada for a remix of “Out Of Time.” A bundle featuring an instrumental version and radio edit of the single is now available digitally.
The original version is featured on the pop star’s fifth studio album, Dawn FM, that has amassed over two billion streams globally. “Out of Time” makes up 160 million of those streams.
Earlier this month, The Weeknd released a video for the track. It was directed by Cliqua and features appearances from Jim Carrey, who is also on the song, as well as South Korean model and actress HoYeon Jung.
This weekend, he wraps his co-headlining performance at Coachella with Swedish House Mafia. The two artists replace Kanye West, who bailed at the last minute. Swedish House Mafia was already set to appear both Fridays, but moved to the co-headlining position with The Weeknd for both Sundays.
The Weeknd recently announced the After Hours Til Dawn stadium tour that will feature special guest Doja Cat. It kicks off in his hometown of Toronto on Friday, July 8th at the Rogers Centre with other stops at iconic US stadiums including Metlife in New York City, Soldier Field in Chicago, Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, and more. The Live Nation-produced trek wraps Friday, September 2nd at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. This is the first leg of The Weeknd’s massive world tour, with additional dates in Mexico, South America, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Africa & Middle East to be announced soon.
The Weeknd has been immersed in starring, co-writing and co-producing the HBO series, The Idol, with further details to be announced.
