Whiskey Myers expands 2022 Tornillo Tour

Group adds 15 dates to fall tour

Whiskey Myers continues to build upon the growing success of consistently selling out shows with the expansion of its 2022 tour. Fifteen new dates have been added to the Tornillo Tour this fall. New stops include Little Rock, AR; The Woodlands, TX; Portland; Los Angeles, San Diego and Las Vegas.

The group is touring in support of its forthcoming self-produced sixth studio album Tornillo, set for release July 29th via the band’s own Wiggy Thump Records with distribution by Thirty Tigers. The genre-bending band has sold out its Red Rocks Amphitheatre debut and recently announced its personally curated Firewater Music Festival will return for a second year this fall outside of Kansas City.

Tickets for the new dates are on sale to the general public Friday, May 6th at 10 am local time via Ticketmaster. Presale access for members of the Official Whiskey Myers Fans Facebook page begins Tuesday, May 3rd at noon local time with a Spotify presale beginning Thursday, May 5th at 10 am local time.

Last week, Whiskey Myers offered a further glimpse at full-length Tornillo with the release of “Whole World Gone Crazy.” Written solo by Jeffers, who also sings lead vocals on the track, the song’s timely lyrics and sauntering rhythm build over three minutes into a blazing instrumental breakdown showcasing the band’s signature style.

“Whole World Gone Crazy” follows prior Tornillo early releases “Antioch” and lead single “John Wayne.”

Tornillo offers the next chapter for the six-piece band that self-produced and recorded the project in 21 days in isolation at the 2,300-acre Sonic Ranch studio deep in the heart of their native Texas, just miles from the US/Mexico border.
