“Life on Mars? (Live at A Bowie Celebration 2021)” available now

Yungblud has released a cover of the classic David Bowie track “Life on Mars? (Live at A Bowie Celebration 2021)” via Locomotion/Interscope Records. On January 9th, the British singer/songwriter performed his rendition of the track for A Bowie Celebration: Just For One Day! The star-studded event was produced by longtime Bowie collaborator and pianist Mike Garson, Kerry Brown and Rolling Live Studios. Bowie’s original version of “Life on Mars?” appeared on his 1971 album Hunky Dory.

Last month Yungblud’s rendition was heard after the Perseverance Mars Rover touched down on the Red Planet. New Yungblud merchandise inspired by NASA and created in honor of the Mars Perseverance Rover is available.

“I’m doing a merch drop with NASA and being allowed to release a cover of my favorite song by my favorite artist,” Yungblud shares. “Someone fucking pinch me.”

A new song of Yungblud’s entitled “Mars” appears on his album Weird! via Locomotion/Interscope, which debuted at No. 1 on the UK Official Album Chart in December 2020.

Last week, the 23-year-old celebrated the one year anniversary of one of the first livestream concerts of the pandemic with an all-star livestream benefitting the NIVA Emergency Relief Fund. The Yungblud Show Live featured appearances by Tommy Lee, Dave Navarro, Avril Lavigne, Machine Gun Kelly, renforshort, LILHUDDY and KSI.
