Bryan was on the road when the arrest happened

Zach Bryan has been arrested in Oklahoma. TMZ reports the country star was busted for obstruction of investigation in Vinita, Oklahoma and booked in Craig County Jail, although it’s unclear precisely what led to his arrest. The sheriff’s office has released his mugshot.

“Today I had an incident with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol,” Bryan shares on social media following the arrest. “Emotions got the best of me and I was out of line in the things I said. I support law enforcement as much as anyone can, I was just frustrated in the moment, it was unlike me and I apologize. They brought me to jail, and there is a mug shot of me floating around. Prayers we can all move on from this and prayers people know I’m just trying the best I can, I love you guys and I am truly sorry to the officers.”

Prior to the incident, Bryan published a photo on Instagram of his dog in the passenger seat and the caption, “On the road again, gonna go see the birds win,” likely a reference to his favorite NFL team, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Last week, the Oolgah, Oklahoma resident wrapped his 2023 Burn, Burn, Burn Tour with an attendance record at T-Mobile Center in Kansas City. More than 19,659 fans flocked to the Missouri arena, marking it as the largest single-ticketed event in venue history.

Two weeks ago, the singer-songwriter-producer released his fourth full-length studio album, Zach Bryan, via Warner Records. The new 16-track self-titled album explores the Grammy-nominated singer’s southern state roots that combine a litany of varied musical and literary influences that might be best described as “Zach Bryan music.” Written and produced entirely by Bryan himself, the self-titled album features raw and unfiltered stories that speak from the heart directly to his ever-growing global fanbase. Zach Bryan boasts collaborations with Kacey Musgraves, The Lumineers, Sierra Ferrell, and The War and Treaty. “I Remember Everything” with Musgraves currently sits atop of the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Last week, he also announced that he’ll return to the road with The Quittin Time Tour hitting North American cities in 2024. Bryan’s 2024 tour will take place in stadiums and major arenas across North America, kicking off in Chicago with two shows at the United Center on March 6 and 7, before heading out coast to coast with stops at football stadiums in Denver, Foxborough, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Tampa, Arlington, and Minneapolis.

Presales are underway with the general on-sale beginning tomorrow (Fri, Sept 8th).

Bryan has built a hard-won reputation as an in-concert force of nature, second to none, as evidenced by anyone who attended shows from his Burn, Burn, Burn Tour. All shows sold out instantly several months in advance, and he set new attendance records at several venues along the way.
