Five additional tracks are added

Ariana Grande is releasing a deluxe edition of her latest album Positions on February 19th via Republic Records. The new edition will contain five bonus tracks, including a “34+35” Remix featuring Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion that will be released on February 12th.

The pop star teased the announcement via Twitter last week saying “happy february” with a shot of the back artwork containing four marked out tracks.

The original Positions was released last October and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart in November. Vinyl and cassette editions of the original album will be released on April 9th.

This week, Grande scores her eighth Billboard Pop Airplay No. 1 as “34+35” dethrones her own “Positions” for the top spot this week, according to Billboard. She’s the first artist to have succeeded herself as the only act credited on both tracks. Billboard claims the remix of “34+35” hasn’t received enough airplay for Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion to receive credit on the Pop Airplay chart.

“Positions” dominated the top spot for seven weeks, which surpassed the reign of “7 Rings” with six in 2019. “Positions” is the longest No. 1 run for a song sung by a woman solo since Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble” in 2013.
