Additional performers will be announced

Bailey Zimmerman, Jelly Roll, Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson, and Sam Hunt join host Kelsea Ballerini as performers at the 2024 CMT Music Awards. Country music’s first fan-voted award show airs live from Austin, Texas’ Moody Center on Sunday, April 7th from 8-11 pm ET/PT on CBS, and will be available to stream live and on-demand on Paramount+.

Zimmerman will break from his completely sold-out solo touring run to perform on the CMT Music Awards stage, treating fans to a first-time performance of his current single “Where It Ends.” He also looks to take home his first CMT belt buckle for “Male Video of the Year.”

Last year, Jelly Roll dominated the 2023 show with his first major award show performance and win, ultimately becoming the night’s most-winningest artist with a total of three trophies. He returns to the CMT stage for another show-stopping performance and as a leading nominee with three nods, including his first chance at taking home the night’s biggest award for “Video of the Year.”

With nine total career wins, Urban will command the stage for a record 20th performance – the most in CMTMA history! – bringing a high-energy, world premiere performance of “Straight Line,” the first single from his upcoming 12th studio album.

Fresh off her Grammy win, Wilson will continue her record-setting year with a return to the CMT stage for a performance of the new song “Country’s Cool Again.” Lainey is again tied for the most nominations of the night and will compete for three more awards, including the night’s biggest category, “Video of the Year.”

Returning to the CMTMA stage between stops of his arena-headlining Outskirts Tour, Hunt will debut a new song.

Additional performers, presenters and details about the 2024 CMT Music Awards on CBS will be announced soon.

Top nominees Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, and Megan Moroney split the lead with three nominations apiece.

General voting is now open at vote.cmt.com through April 1st. Voting for the highly-coveted “Video of the Year,” presented by Hilton, remains active in show.

An all-star lineup of programming featuring Hardy, Little Big Town, Nickelback, and more begins Friday, April 5th on CMT.
