JBJ cancels fan club performance

Jon Bon Jovi has tested positive for COVID during a fan club getaway in Florida. The performance portion of the Runaway with JBJ event has been canceled.

His brother Matt Bongiovi shared the news with fans, who were ultimately disappointed by the breakthrough case after gathering at the venue. He told the crowd that Jon was leaving the event and heading to bed.

A rep says that JBJ is fully vaccinated and “feeling fine.”

According to Twitter reports, Jon was seen with fans earlier in the day as the weekend event included a Q&A and photo op with the rock star. One user shares a video of Jon leaving the Lowes South Beach hotel with staff, following the news.

At the start of the pandemic, Bon Jovi keyboardist David Bryan tested positive as well. He quickly recovered after isolation.

Kiss, Tesla, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Foo Fighters, Buckcherry, Korn, Mammoth WVH and The Cadillac Three are among those who have been forced to postpone or cancel dates due to an active case within their touring camps, including some band members themselves.
