New trek kicks off next spring

Luke Combs has announced the 2024 Growin’ Up and Gettin’ Old Tour, featuring two nights in each city. Thirteen cities and 25 shows have been announced, kicking off April 12th and 13th in Milwaukee. The Friday concerts will feature Cody Jinks or The Avett Brothers, Charles Wesley Godwin, Hailey Whitters and Then Wilder Blue. The Saturday shows will see Jordan Davis, Mitchell Tenpenny, Drew Parker and Coby Acuff support.

“When I found out we were going to be able to do two shows for most all of the cities on the 2024 tour, I decided I wanted each show to have their own unique set up of openers, as well as my own setlist,” Combs shares of the tour format. “I thought this would give people an opportunity to come to both nights if they want, but see two completely different shows. I can’t wait to see y’all on the road next year!”

The Bootleggers fan club pre-sale will begin Wednesday, August 23rd at 10 am local time. Members must sign up by Saturday, August 19th at 10 am PT to have an opportunity to purchase tickets early. The general on sale starts Friday, August 25th at 10 am local time via Ticketmaster.

Combs will support his two latest albums, 2022’s Growin’ Up and the 2023 companion, Gettin’ Old  on the trek.

Combs is in the midst of his massive World Tour, which runs through this fall including upcoming sold out shows in Australia and Europe. With 44 shows across three continents and 16 countries, the tour is the largest ever for a country artist and has broken records across the globe.

The reigning two-time CMA Entertainer of the Year has also released a new live version of Tracy Chapman’s Grammy Award-winning song, “Fast Car.” The track recorded during Combs’ sold out show at Minneapolis’ US Bank Stadium earlier this spring.

The single was recently certified 2x Platinum within five months since its release, and has garnered over 435 million global streams to date. “Fast Car” is also currently No. 1 on the Hot AC chart for the second-consecutive week, No. 2 on Billboard’s all-genre Hot 100 chart and recently spent five consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart — Combs’ 16th consecutive No. 1 at country radio and yet another historic feat. With these achievements, “Fast Car” is the first song by a male solo artist to ever top both the Hot AC and Country Airplay charts. Moreover, the single has remained in the top three of the Billboard Hot 100 chart for the past several weeks and is currently top 10 on the American Top 40 chart as well as No. 1 on the New Zealand Airplay chart and the Australian Hot 100 Radio Airplay chart.
