Six dates have been added for 2026
Kelly Clarkson has postponed the remainder of her new residency, Kelly Clarkson: Studio Sessions—The Las Vegas Residency, dates for August due to an illness in her family. The notoriously private star says her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, is ill.
“Unfortunately, I need to postpone the remainder of the August Studio Session dates in Las Vegas,” she shares on social media. “While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children’s father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them. I am sincerely sorry to everyone who bought tickets to the shows and I so appreciate your grace, kindness and understanding.”
The four dates affected include August 8, 9, 15, and 16, with new dates now added for July 17, 18, 24, 25, 31, and August 1, 2026. Clarkson is set to return for four more dates in November.
This is the second time Clarkson has postponed the short run. Last month, she postponed opening weekend 90 minutes before the start time due to a vocal strain.
The run follows Clarkson’s sold-out exclusive Las Vegas engagement at PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in 2023 and 2024.
For a seventh season, Clarkson’s eponymous daytime talker, The Kelly Clarkson Show, has been renewed by NBC Owned Television Stations group. Since its launch in 2019, the program has collected television’s most prestigious awards. The show has won 22 Daytime Emmys, including multiple wins for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series and Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Host; two People’s Choice Awards for Best Talk Show of the Year; and accolades from the Alliance for Women in Media’s Gracie Awards, winning the Talk Show Entertainment category three times.
In a recent episode, the former American Idol winner says she has started her own label and released “Where Have You Been” in June.
