Trek runs for 11 dates in April and May

It wouldn’t be Friday The 13th without some Alice Cooper news. The shock rocker just announced The Too Close For Comfort Tour for this spring.

The 11-date trek kicks off April 29th in Youngstown, OH with stops in Ft. Wayne, Milwaukee, Louisville and others before wrapping May 18th in Biloxi, MS. Additional dates will be announced at a later date.

Presale tickets and VIP packages are available Tuesday, January 17th with the general on sale going on sale Friday, January 20th at 10 am local time via Ticketmaster.

The trek is the second to feature original Alice Cooper Band guitarist Kane Roberts since rejoining the group last summer. Roberts, who was a member from 1985-1988, reunited with his bandmates following Nita Strauss’ departure after eight years.

Cooper celebrates his 75th birthday on February 4th and a new book, Alice Cooper @ 75, examines the rocker’s extraordinary career, will be published January 31st. Veteran rock journalist Gary Graff shows fans this rock icon through the lens of 75 career accomplishments, events, and partnerships including Cooper’s childhood in Detroit and Arizona and early garage bands the Earwigs and the Spiders, all 28 studio albums and more.

Cooper is currently touring in support of his universally acclaimed 2021 album Detroit Stories. The record is a celebration of the sound and spirit of the Golden Era of Detroit rock, and debuted on the Billboard Album sales chart at No. 1 upon release in February 2021.
