Project drops this fall

Black’s Sabbath 1998 live album, Reunion, is making its vinyl debut this fall. The project will be available on 3 LP purple smoke vinyl via Sony’s Legacy Recordings on October 13th.

The set will feature 16 live performances of the original band’s greatest hits captured live on their 1997 reunion tour, remastered from the original source tapes along with two remixed bonus tracks. The tracks were recorded on December 4, 1997 and December 5, 1997 at the NEC in Birmingham, England and includes hits such as “Paranoid,” “NIB,” “Iron Man,” and others. “Selling My Soul” and “Psycho Man” were recorded in spring 1998 and released as a single CD in the United States at the time.

Reunion was the first new release featuring the original lineup of vocalist Ozzy Osbourne, guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Geezer Butler and drummer Bill Ward since 1978’s Never Say Die! Osbourne was fired the following year.
