Jimin’s Production Diary will premiere on October 23rd

Jimin of 21st century pop icons BTS has announced his solo documentary film, Jimin’s Production Diary, set to be released on October 23rd via the global fandom life platform Weverse. Following the announcement, the film’s poster and teaser trailer were revealed via BTS’ official social media channels.

Starring Jimin, Jimin’s Production Diary is a Hybe Original documentary film that thoroughly captures the album-making process behind Face, released in March 2023, Jimin’s first solo album that earned him the title as the first South Korean solo artist to top the Billboard Hot 100. The film takes viewers on a closer look into Jimin as a person as he lays out the candid emotions and thoughts that went through his mind while working on the album.

The teaser portrays Jimin focusing on recording a song in a studio. “It’s something that I shouldn’t think too simply. It became the opportunity to know what I should do more clearly,” Jimin says in a clip. “I can say that there are more things I want to do.”

The main trailer will be unveiled on October 13th and the pre-order for the film will begin on October 14th. Other various content such as a lyric video, additional versions of posters, a quiz show, and a special message for the fans, Army, will also follow.

Jimin is a South Korean singer, songwriter and member of BTS. His dazzling vocal tone adds a unique quality to the songs he sings. He plays a central role in BTS’ choreography with his background in modern dance as well as his capability to perform various genres of choreography. Jimin is recognized as an all-rounder with his wide range of vocal and performance abilities.
