Song appears on band’s 10th studio album

Buckcherry has released the video for their rendition on Bryan Adams’ “Summer of ’69.” The video was directed by Tom Flynn, who also directed the band’s two prior videos from Vol. 10 — “Good Time” and “Shine Your Light.” The video was shot in Detroit and at Summerfest in Milwaukee and captures a day in the life of a touring rock band.

Adams originally released the song on his 1984 Reckless album and the track became a worldwide hit.

Vol. 10, the band’s tenth studio album, was released on June 2nd via Round Hill Records in North America, Sony Japan in Japan and Earache Records throughout the rest of the world. The 11-song album features 10 new Buckcherry originals and “Summer of 69” as a bonus track. The album was produced by Marti Frederiksen and recorded at Sienna Studios in Nashville.

The group is currently on tour with dates scheduled through 2024. This fall, Buckcherry rejoins Skid Row for their The Gang’s All Here Tour through December 16th in Wheatland, CA.
