Chris Janson returns to country radio with the most-added single. “Bye Mom” has earned early critical praise and fan support, leading to Janson’s strongest first-week streaming numbers upon release in August. Now, with 37 adds this week and 39 total, the track officially hits the airwaves.

The news comes on the heels of a massive video launch. The official music video for “Bye Mom” premiered on Friday across CMT platforms. The true-to-life piece features co-writer Brandon Kinney and his family, with Kinney’s children playing younger versions of himself and his wife starring as the titular mom. Fans can also go behind the scenes of the video shoot for an intimate look at the special heart-healing process below.

“Bye Mom” is the first single from Janson’s upcoming album. What began as a tribute to his friend and co-writer’s mom, who passed late last year, turned into a message about loving someone more than yourself. Whether from a mother, father, brother, sister, friend or lover, “Bye Mom” gently opines that everyone deserves to feel that kind of immeasurable love.

A celebrated recording artist, Janson joined Warner Music Nashville in 2015 as his now 3x Platinum, chart-topping smash “Buy Me A Boat” became a viral and now perennial sensation. Over the past six years he has earned three additional Gold-certified No. 1 hits while also garnering upwards of seven billion airplay impressions, clocking more than one billion on-demand career streams and earning his membership into the esteemed Grand Ole Opry.

Janson is currently on the road for his Back At It tour dates. The Back At It run spans nearly every weekend through October and features headlining performances, festivals, fairs and special events.
