Festival celebrates 50th anniversary celebration
CMA Fest’s 50th milestone anniversary celebration keeps getting bigger! Country music superstar Dierks Bentley will take the CMA Fest Close Up Stage inside Fan Fair X on Thursday, June 8th at 10:45 am as the featured Artist of the Day. As one of four artists to grace the CMA Close Up Stage this year, Bentley will join fans for a unique interactive experience on the indoor stage. The announcement comes on the heels of news that Reba McEntire and Brothers Osborne will also join the Artist of the Day lineup on Friday, June 9th and Saturday, June 10th, respectively.
In addition to the CMA Close Up Stage, festival attendees can tap into the festival’s history and experience how it all started 50 years ago at Fan Fair X inside Music City Center, where meet and greets, music, merch and more come together, all in the comfort of air-conditioning. The longest-running country music festival in the world returns to downtown Nashville Thursday through Sunday, June 8-11th, featuring hundreds of artists performing across multiple stages and offering fans from around the globe a festival experience unlike any other. From the unique up-close-and-personal moments that bring artists and fans together at Fan Fair X inside Music City Center, to the superstar nightly concerts at Nissan Stadium, from free daytime performances at all outdoor stages, to one-of-a-kind activations that line Nashville’s famed Broadway, there’s something for everyone to discover at CMA Fest.
The nightly concerts at Nissan Stadium will feature performances by Jason Aldean, Jimmie Allen, Dierks Bentley, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Dan + Shay, Jordan Davis, Hardy, Tyler Hubbard, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Ashley McBryde, Tim McGraw, Old Dominion, Jon Pardi, Carly Pearce, Keith Urban and Lainey Wilson. In addition to the mainstage performances, the special Platform Stage in the center of Nissan Stadium returns this year and will feature Ashley Cooke, Dalton Dover, Megan Moroney, Ian Munsick, RVSHVD, Nate Smith, Alana Springsteen and Hailey Whitters.
CMA Fest will once again be filmed for a national television special to air on ABC this summer.
