Surprise concert takes place at The Hideout

Jim Beam has announced a surprise concert with Eli Young Band that will take place at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s honky tonk, The Hideout, on Thursday, March 3rd at 10:15 pm. The Hideout is located in a white tent on the west side of NRG Arena where the main event is held.

As part of the “Jim Beam Welcome Sessions,” the music series from the world’s No. 1 bourbon, this concert also serves as a homecoming for Eli Young Band, bringing them back to a stage they first played back in 2007. Eli Young Band would then go on to play the main stage at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo three times and become multi-platinum artists with hits like “Crazy Girl,” “Drunk Last Night,” “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” and many more.

“Returning to The Hideout is going to be a nostalgic moment for all of us and can’t wait to revisit the stage that we played back in 2007 and has supported so many incredible up-and-coming artists,” states Eli Young Band. “Thank you to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and Jim Beam for making this surprise happen, it will definitely be a night to remember.”

Houston native DJ, Disko Cowboy, will open for Eli Young Band starting at 8 pm. The Hideout, presented by Jim Beam, is open for those 21 years of age and older, for just the cost of admission to NRG Park. In addition to the spacious dance floor and bars, fans can also enjoy the Jim Beam “Find Your Flavor” Trailer, with complimentary Jim Beam Flavor samples and fun giveaways.

The “Jim Beam Welcome Sessions” bring artists and fans together for one-of-a-kind shows that deliver the power of a warm welcome back to a world of live music.

Cody Johnson, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Ricky Martin, Jon Pardi, Luke Bryan, Maren Morris, Kane Brown, Journey, Dierks Bentley, Sam Hunt, Gwen Stefani, Khalid, Chris Stapleton, Marshmello, and Brad Paisley are among the RODEOHOUSTON post-rodeo headliners at NRG Stadium. George Strait and Ashley McBryde will close the event on Sunday, March 20th with a special concert-only performance.
