Brew is available in time for film’s theatrical release

Foo Fighters are celebrating the release of its first-ever horror comedy film, 666 Studios, with a limited edition Coors Light beer. Coors Almighty Light is available in time for the film’s theatrical release on February 25th.

“Coors Almighty Light is the first spiritually enhanced beer developed specifically to ward off demons while viewing the Foo Fighters’ dangerous new film Studio 666. Made with real sacred water that has been blessed, this drinkable demon deterrent will shield your soul with every sip,” the brewer says in a statement. “This limited batch of beer has been blessed by a non-denominational ordained minister.”

The company is also giving residents in Colorado, DC, Florida, Idaho, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Nebraska, New York, North Carolina and South Carolina a chance to win a batch of Coors Almighty Light.

In the film, the legendary rock band Foo Fighters move into an Encino mansion steeped in grisly rock and roll history to record their much anticipated tenth studio album. Once in the house, Grohl finds himself grappling with supernatural forces that threaten both the completion of the album and the lives of the band.

The film stars band members Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett and Rami Jaffee, along with Whitney Cummings, Will Forte, Jenna Ortega, Leslie Grossman and Jeff Garlin. The script is based on an idea by Grohl with a screenplay by Jeff Buhler and Rebecca Hughes.

The band will make a few appearances at select Los Angeles area screenings on February 25th. The band will appear at the 7 and 7:15 pm screenings at AMC Promenade in Woodland Hills and at 8:30 pm at the Regal Sherman Oaks Galleria. Director BJ McDonnell will join the group at the screenings.
