The new station will stream on TuneIn

Garth Brooks is bringing back The Garth Channel, but this time to global audiences via his partnership with TuneIn. Back by popular demand, the station returns with Brooks’ music and more, including his favorite artists across different genres and personal stories from life on the road — all filled with heart to take listeners into the mind of Garth Brooks.

The Garth Channel will take listeners on a wild ride with a playlist curated by Brooks featuring his own music, classics from his heroes, and hits from new artists he loves. The station gets more personal than ever with Brooks, bringing back fan favorites and new programming that features all his friends in low places.

“The Garth Channel has always been my music, my heroes, my favorites. So, how do you make it better? You make it global for starters so the whole world can see how much I love music and where it comes from. More stories…from me and other artists. It seemed what people loved most on The Garth Channel were the stories. The new Garth Channel will now send out invitations for other artists to tell their stories behind the music and their careers,” Brooks shares. “And saving the best for last, The Garth Channel will be broadcasting from the new Friends in Low Places Bar in Nashville. Some are calling the new channel, The Garth Channel 2.0. Truth is, it’s the new Garth Channel 7.0.”

The Garth Channel marks the third station launched on TuneIn in partnership with Brooks and the Sevens Radio Network. The first station, The Big 615, brought Brooks’ vision to life for a new authentic take on country radio with host Storme Warren in the driver’s seat. The second, Tailgate Radio, brings listeners anthemic, powerful, energetic and just plain fun music to get the party started for game day. This new station is more personal to Brooks, giving him the chance to connect with fans through his favorite music and personal stories.

Last fall, Brooks ended The Garth Channel on SiriusXM after six years and teased he was planning to “launch Garth Channel 2.0” with a sister station. Completely curated by Brooks himself, The Garth Channel featured Garth’s picks from yesterday’s and today’s pop, country, R&B and rock artists mixed with his own award-winning songs.

This fall, Brooks will release the third and final edition of The Limited Series box set in partnership with Bass Pro Shops. The new collection will contain seven CDs, including his forthcoming unannounced new studio album, Man Against Machine, Gunslinger, Fun, and Triple Live with a new cover of the latter from his series of performances at Bass Pro Shops Thunder Ridge Arena last year.

On Black Friday, November 24th, Brooks will perform a Dive Bar concert to open his Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk in Nashville. This historic event will be the first opportunity for fans to get into the long-awaited bar. The only way into the concert will be to win tickets by listening to The Big 615 station on TuneIn.

Brooks has engaged Strategic Hospitality, a Nashville-based hospitality company owned by brothers Benjamin and Max Goldberg, to help execute his vision for the three-story, 40,000+ square foot property on Nashville’s Lower Broadway.

Brooks also confirms that three more covers of Triple Live will be coming this fall, although details are sparse as of press time.

A “follow documentary” is also in the works which is expected to be released to coincide with the 2022 Ireland concert special. Brooks showed a snippet of the edited footage of he and his band performing a cover of Queen’s “We Will Rock You.”

“How much shit do you think I’m going to get for showing that?” he laughs.

Further details will be unveiled as they become available.
