The feat marks the pop star as the first female artist to score ten No. 1 hits & albums on the Billboard charts

Taylor Swift just captured the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Cruel Summer.” With this achievement, she has once again made history and become The First Female Artist To Score Ten No. 1 Hits on the Billboard Hot 100 and Ten No. 1 Albums on the Billboard 200. Since its release over a year ago, Midnights has not left the top 10 of the Billboard 200. Notably, the standout track “Anti-Hero” held the No. 1 spot for eight weeks and is the longest-charting song of her career. The track has not left the Billboard Hot 100 chart for a full year. This week with “Cruel Summer,” Swift claims her 30th week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

“Cruel Summer” has historically completed The Longest Run For a Female Soloist From a Hot 100 Debut to #1 (Non-Holiday), climbing to the top after four years and two months. This marks the Longest Climb for a Non-Holiday Female Track from Release Date and the Second Longest Climb for a Non-Holiday Track in the Soundscan Era from Release Date.

“Cruel Summer” logs the first No. 1 from her acclaimed 2019 blockbuster album, Lover, which was released in 2019 via Republic Records. “You Need to Calm Down” and “Me!” both impressively peaked at No. 2 on the chart.

The song is featured in her new Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour concert film that opened theatrically earlier this month, raking in more than $92.8 million domestically and $123.5 million globally to land the biggest debut of all time for a concert film. The film spans more than two and a half hours and features over three dozen songs.

It took less than 24 hours for the Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour to shatter AMC’s US record for the highest ticket sales revenue during a single day in AMC’s 103-year history. Advanced ticket sales are strong across the United States, from the largest cities to the smallest towns, and are particularly strong in premium large-screen formats like IMAX, Dolby Cinema, Prime at AMC, and other branded premium experiences.

The film was captured during her six-night stand at LA’s SoFi Stadium in August. The 53-date North American leg of the tour was attended by more than three million Taylor Swift fans. The trek is expected to make Swift the highest-grossing female artist and The Eras Tour the largest-ever grossing tour in US history as it’s projected to gross more than $2 billion by the end of its international run.

Swift returns to North America in fall 2024 for 14 shows for a second US and Canadian leg. Swift will perform three shows each in Miami, New Orleans and Indianapolis with six performances set for Toronto in October and November of next year. Gracie Abrams will support all dates.

Swift is currently global as she takes The Eras Tour to Mexico, South America, Latin America, Asia and Europe through summer 2024.

1989 (Taylor’s Version) the fourth installment of her rerecords, will be out this Friday, October 27th.
