Brooks will perform in mid-December

Garth Brooks will perform his next Dive Bar Tour stop on December 16th at Club Rodeo in San Jose. KRTY has three ways to win through email and calling contests.

The only way to get tickets to the show are through KRTY which will also be handling the COVID-19 protocols. All patrons must be 21+ and either provide proof of full vaccination or negative test.

Brooks began his Dive Bar Tour concert series in the summer of 2019 at Joe’s on Weed Street in Chicago. Other stops included Buck Owens’ Crystal Palace in Bakersfield, CA; Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, TX; The Barn in Sanford, FL; The Dusty Armadillo in Rootstown, OH; Prospectors in Mt. Laurel, NJ; The Westerner in Salt Lake City; and most recently, Diamond Ballroom in Oklahoma City which received more than 2.4 million entries.

The Dive Bar Tour was inspired by his single, “Dive Bar” with Blake Shelton, which is on Brooks’ most recent album, Fun. The Dive Bar Tour will continue on to dive bars in country music capitals around the country through 2022.

Despite canceling the remaining 2021 dates of his stadium tour due to a resurgence of rising COVID cases towards the end of summer, Brooks says the Dive Bar shows, as other smaller ones, can continue due to easier enforcement of vaccination status for a few hundred fans instead of tens of thousands that flock to his sell out stadium shows.

This week, Brooks is set to headline three sold out intimate shows at two storied Nashville venues. Brooks will perform on Thursday, November 18th at the Grand Ole Opry House, which is the new opening night of a two night stand at the Ryman Auditorium, set for Friday and Saturday. None of the shows were sold to capacity, leaving tens of thousands without tickets. These are solo acoustic shows in the vein of his Wynn Las Vegas residency that ran from 2009-2014, and may be a precurser to a split Vegas/Nashville residency following The Stadium Tour.

Brooks has confirmed that The Garth Brooks Stadium Tour will likely return in February or March 2022 with the likelihood of multiple shows going on sale before Christmas.

Ireland news outlets have recently reported that Brooks could finally make his long-awaited return to Dublin’s Croke Park in September. That news is unconfirmed as of press time, but Brooks neither confirmed nor denied those rumors on his Facebook Live show earlier this fall.
